How do I install the Workplace Wellbeing app on my device?

Download to an Android device

  1. Visit hmpps.workplacewellbeing.com
  2. Tap the ‘menu’ icon (three virtual dots).
  3. From the drop-down list, tap on ‘add to home screen’.

Download to an IOS device

  1. Visit hmpps.workplacewellbeing.com
  2. Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down the list of options and tap Add to Home Screen.
    (If you don’t see this option, scroll to the bottom and tap Edit Actions, then tap Add next to the Add to Home Screen action. After that, you’ll be able to select it from the Share Sheet.)
  4. Type a name for the app, we recommend using WPW to keep it short and simple.
  5. Tap Add in the top-right corner of your screen.
What should I do if the Workplace Wellbeing app will not install onto my device?

What is the Workplace Adjustment Passport?

Workplace Adjustment Passports contain a record of adjustments agreed with your manager and are used across the Civil Service. Sharing a Workplace Adjustment Passport makes it easier to have a conversation about adjustments with your manager, or when you are changing teams, job roles or even employer.

What is Staff Wellbeing?

We recognise that staff will all be facing wellbeing challenges which will come in all shapes and sizes. To support staff, we have put together a collection of wellbeing pages to provide some support and guidance on a range of issues around keeping well.

What is a Carer’s Passport?

A carer’s passport is essentially a conversation about the flexibility needed to combine work and care. This conversation involves balancing the needs of the employee with the needs of the business, within existing departmental policies.

What guidance is available to help support transgender, intersex and non-binary staff?

What is the Colleague Menopause Toolkit?

All managers have a duty of care to their employees. The purpose of this toolkit is to raise awareness of menopause transition and assist managers in supporting employees going through the menopause in the workplace.

What is the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)?

Our Employee Assistance Programme is provided by PAM Assist. To contact the 24/7 EAP Helpline and for access to confidential counselling, call 0800 019 8988.

What does occupational health mean?

Occupational health looks at all aspects of the health of employees and ways to improve and maintain the health of the workforce. It helps identify and prevent illness at work, and provides impartial advice on the fitness of an employee to do their job.

What is Optima Health Online?

Optima Health Online is an online portal within the Workplace Wellbeing website for managers that’s accessible 24/7 via computer, phone or tablet.

It features training videos, podcasts and a suite of guidance notes for common health issues (including mental health issues such as depression and anxiety) and routine surgical procedures. It also includes best practice on making a referral, and information on how occupational health can support manager’s in their role.

What is the OH Service?

The OH Service is access to an online portal that allows managers to log and track referrals and appointments relating to their staff. It allows managers to:

  • Make referrals to occupational health for advice
  • Schedule appointments for a variety of interventions
  • View previous referrals made through the portal
  • Submit and track referral documents
  • View referral progress and history
  • View real-time updates to referrals
  • Instant access to download interim and outcome summary reports as soon as they are produced
  • Access FAQs and guidance on how to use the portal

What is the manager’s toolkit?

The manager’s toolkit contains a range of podcasts, videos and articles specifically created to help managers handle workplace health and wellbeing issues effectively.

What is the wellbeing calendar?

The Wellbeing Calendar is where you can find information and content relating to awareness days and topics of interest for each month.

Why won’t video content display?
